Saya test mPDF, DOMPDF, wkhtmltopdf, WeasyPrint, Gotenberg. Gotenberg jadi pilihan. Cuma kena deploy dengan Docker. Maka guna Docker dengan Coolify. Ada 5 container: 1. Laravel: app, worker & scheduler 2. MySQL DB 3. Gotenberg 4. Laravel Reverb 5. Redis: session, queue & cache

With @LaraconIN wrapping up over the weekend, the excitement is building as we count down to @LaraconEU , Laravel Manchester, and the next @laravellondon - let's dive into this week's incredible top ten finds. In 🥇 place this week, @JustSteveKing delivers something truly extraordinary with 'Recalibrated' - a deeply moving and personal reflection on his military service as a Route Clearance specialist in Afghanistan. Steve masterfully draws parallels between the high-stakes world of bomb disposal and software development, while sharing profound insights about human connection in conflict zones and the lasting impact of service. This isn't just a technical post, it's a powerful reminder of the diverse experiences that shape our community members. t.ly/DRiWV In 🥈 place this week, @trovster tackles a common Laravel challenge with his guide on creating custom maintenance mode pages that handle both HTML and JSON responses seamlessly. Trevor's tutorial goes beyond the basic --render flag approach, showing how to properly customise the exception handler to solve content negotiation issues for both web browsers and APIs. This is essential knowledge for anyone building applications that serve multiple client types. t.ly/iFp5N In 🥉 place this week, @driesvints shares his innovative solution for generating PDFs in Laravel Cloud applications using Cloudflare. As many developers know, traditional PDF generation tools like DOMPDF can be tricky to deploy on cloud servers due to dependency constraints. Dries' approach leverages Cloudflare's capabilities to solve this common deployment challenge, and his detailed X thread breakdown makes it accessible for developers facing similar hurdles. t.ly/y-9JV 🥇 @JustSteveKing - Recalibrated - t.ly/DRiWV 🥈 @trovster - Laravel Maintenance Mode Custom View AND JSON - t.ly/iFp5N 🥉 @driesvints - Generating PDFs in Laravel Cloud with Cloudflare. - t.ly/y-9JV 4️⃣ @valorin - Security Tip: Update your packages! - Puppeteer: works but needs headless Chrome infrastructure - wkhtmltopdf: doesn't support modern CSS - DomPDF: CSS 2.1 only None of them handles Tailwind properly out of the box. I'm building something to fix this.

Tip: For better performance, do not use spatie/laravel-pdf or spatie/browsershot because they are very slow. Only use these libraries if you need a feature that other packages such as barryvdh/laravel-dompdf do not have. Source: my experience in a recent project

Dompdf 3.1 has been released, which contains a breaking change for laravel-dompdf users when using data:// urls. The data:// protocol has to be added to the config. We updated the default config in laravel-dompdf:3.1 but if you published the config, you need to add this yourself.
