Wait till 2027 comes around and all the senior guys that maxed out their pensions from all the overtime this summer retire. Then NYC will have even more of a shortage of cops, thus necessitating even more Overtime. In the absence of meaningful changes of quality of NYPD joblife that makes guys want to stay beyond 20 years, more overtime = more retirements = more overtime to plug coverage gaps. It's a doomloop.

For example i had 3 jobs before, none of which lasted very long because i soon got fired after starting. Firstly all the staff hated me bcus i didnt communicate (autism), secondly i was just deemed not competent enough at the job (also autism) so they got rid of me
