An exciting new door opens...
Yesterday we officially opened EIT's London office at 11–12 St James’s Square, expanding our reach to the capital and creating a hub for our teams and collaborators.
Number 12 carries a remarkable lineage: it was once the home of Ada Lovelace, the pioneering mathematician who wrote the first computer program while living there between 1837 and 1846.
That spirit of innovation endures. Our new space strengthens EIT’s commitment to flexible working and cross-disciplinary exchange, offering London-based talent a place to connect with colleagues and partners across science and technology.

This tower is not just a volume soaring into the sky but a spatial tension articulated in a vertical narrative. The curvilinear base is not merely a supporting platform but a plastic gesture that interacts with the ground, creating a dialogue between the building’s mass and its foundation.
The transparent skin reveals and conceals, allowing glimpses of the depth of the interior spaces, while the vertical continuity of the glass is not just an aesthetic choice but an expression of the desire to erase weight and dissolve the structure into the air. The central element, a glazed body running through the entire building, is not just an empty space but a fracture that generates dynamism—a channel of light and spatial perception that guides the eye upward.
Architecture here is not reduced to a solid object; it becomes a spatial condition, an energy that transcends mere construction and turns into a perceptual experience, breaking staticity and challenging gravity with the language of lightness.
