Jomana Qaddour, the Senior Syria Advisor at the U.S. State Department who shapes U.S. policy on Syria, has deep, unreconciled radical activism in her past, and new evidence has just surfaced.

A 2010 Citizens for Justice in the Middle East (CJME) report quotes Qaddour describing Gaza as a "prison" during her brief stay there as part of the convoy.
Viva Palestina has been exposed as a front for Hamas in this Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) report — detailing its fundraising for Hamas, coalitions with extremist groups, and the 2009 convoy that delivered aid tied to terrorist networks.
This adds to Qaddour’s pattern of radical ties:
• Leadership in MB-linked MSA & MAS at the University of Kansas.
• Father Jihad Qaddour’s role as MAS Treasurer and his 2013 photo flashing the Rabia gesture at an MB support rally.
• Training under jihad recruiter Hamed Ghazali (named in the 1991 MB memorandum).
• 2013 Islamic Relief USA board amid IRW's Hamas-praise scandals.
• Deep left-wing, anti-Trump activism (e.g., advisor for “Syrian Americans for Biden”).
Many of her close friends - including FDD and their affiliates - have given emotional testimonies defending her as a “genuine philosemite” and “true friend of the Jewish people,” with stories of synagogue visits, Tanakh gifts, and iftar outings.
My favorite?
Her radical friend Celine Kasem posted a cab selfie with Qaddour, calling her “brave, resilient, intelligent” and telling ME to “try again.”

Meet Jomana Qaddour - the Senior Syria Advisor at the U.S. State Department, helping shape America’s policy toward Syria after the fall of Assad.
But her background raises serious national security questions and a need for better vetting at the US State Department.
Qaddour was educated at the Islamic School of Greater Kansas City, run by Hamed Ghazali, a Muslim Brotherhood operative we previously exposed who is named in the Brotherhood’s infamous 1991 “Explanatory Memorandum.”

Right after RAIR Foundation's viral exposé exposed Jomana Qaddour's troubling Muslim Brotherhood-linked ties and left-wing activist past - now she's Senior Syria Advisor at the U.S. State Department - serious questions exploded online.
New Information came forward after radical Celine Kasem posted a smiling cab selfie with Qaddour, calling her “brave, resilient, intelligent,” and aggressively defending her against those questioning her Muslim-Brotherhood ties and left-wing connection.
People flooded our inbox with disturbing videos and posts from Celine Kasem, and the same question kept coming up loud and clear:
How can a senior U.S. Syria policymaker be this close to such a radical?
We called it out. Others called it out.
This isn't a casual acquaintance. This is a visible, public, affectionate bond between a high-level State Department official and someone who routinely spews vicious, eliminationist anti-Israel hate.
Then today, we released a video of Kasem declaring
“Today, Israel is the occupying, genocidal cancer of our region, and it has been genociding our brothers and sisters in Gaza for the past two years, live on TV with full impunity from the whole entire world.”
Just look at her feed, which is loaded with more poison: accusations of Israel bombing Syrian civilians, collaborating with Assad, and other dangerous, eliminationist rhetoric.
This relationship alone is deeply troubling for anyone shaping U.S. foreign policy - especially on Syria and the Middle East.
What makes this even more shocking?
Kasem has now quietly erased the entire post - the cab photo, the glowing praise, the defense of Qaddour - all gone.
No explanation. Just deleted the instant the friendship and her own words were spotlighted.
Panic? Cover-up? Attempt to scrub the evidence?
Thankfully, we have screenshots and recordings of everything before it vanished. The truth doesn't delete itself.
And here's the real kicker:
This comes right on the heels of relentless personal attacks from @FDD and their circle.
They couldn't refute a single fact from RAIR journalist @ReneeNal's perfectly sourced, incredible report (which will be updated with even more newly discovered Muslim Brotherhood ties).
Instead of engaging the evidence, they launched explosive personal attacks, first assuming I wrote the article, then turning on Renee Nal, while spending the whole day flooding X with emotional, feel-good stories: synagogue visits, Tanakh gifts, Israeli movie recommendations, embassy iftars about their "Friend" Jomana Qaddor.
They even attacked @GadSaad and scolded him for daring to spotlight the report.
They had nothing factual to offer. Just anecdotes and smears.
Yet here Qaddour is - their supposed “genuine philosemite” and “true friend of the Jewish people” - exposed in a deep, visible bond with someone who calls Israel a “genocidal cancer.”
FDD still refuses to address this glaring contradiction - or provide any real rebuttal to the report on Qaddour's education under Muslim Brotherhood operative Hamed Ghazali, her father Jihad Qaddour’s Muslim American Society ties, her reported role in the Muslim Student Association, or her 2013 Islamic Relief USA board role during IRW's Hamas-praise scandals.
How does @FDD feel about this very concerning connection?
What is their relationship with Celine Kasem?

Why Defenders of Jomana Qaddour Ignore Her Anti-Israel Friend and Brotherhood Ties
It's striking how quickly certain "experts" - especially at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) - rush to defend Jomana Qaddour with glowing personal anecdotes about her supposed pro-Israel and pro-Jewish views, while overlooking basic public facts that raise red flags about her associations.
A prime example: Qaddour's close friendship with Celine Kasem, captured in a recent photo of them together in a cab, posted by Kasem herself while defending Qaddour against the RAIR Foundation report
Kasem has repeatedly raged against Israel in what I would think FDD would deem extreme terms. In a March 1, 2026, video titled "On Iran, Israel, and our region," she declared:
"Today, Israel is the occupying, genocidal cancer of our region, and it has been genociding our brothers and sisters in Gaza for the past two years, live on TV with full impunity from the whole entire world."
Her feed includes similar rhetoric, accusing Israel of bombing Syrian civilians, collaborating with Assad, and more.
If Qaddour is truly a "genuine philosemite" committed to normalization, why maintain such a visible bond with someone who calls Israel a "genocidal cancer"?
Yet FDD affiliates have yet to address this - or produce any substantive rebuttal to RAIR Foundation journalist @ReneeNal's recent report.
Instead of tackling documented claims (like Qaddour's education at a school run by Muslim Brotherhood operative Hamed Ghazali, or her father Jihad Qaddour's ties to the Muslim American Society), they've flooded X with feel-good emotional stories.
Another overlooked fact we just discovered: In 2013, Qaddour served as Corporate Secretary on the board of Islamic Relief USA (IRUSA), per their annual report and IRS filings.
The Middle East Forum and others have highlighted IRUSA's ties to the Muslim Brotherhood-linked Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW), which has faced bans in multiple countries, funding scrutiny for alleged Hamas links, and explicit U.S. State Department condemnation in 2020 for "antiSemitism exhibited repeatedly by IRW's leadership."
The entire IRW board resigned amid scandals involving praise for Hamas and anti-Israel rhetoric
