Ss need to see people who look like them in these fields. Creating an inclusive space was very important as we set up our STEM labs. Providing an environment where all Ss feel safe, supported, and respected is key. #EdFarmChat

CS is expanding at a ridiculous rate and It also teaches Ss many other skills besides coding such as problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, and many more. Coding and the many skills that come with it, can be used in any field a student decides to go into. #EdFarmChat

💯. There isn’t one part of our lives that CS hasn’t touched in some way. Even just exposure to computational thinking and design thinking can change the course of a life. The potential uses of CS to solve problems and enhance life are endless! #EdFarmChat

To be able to include all the activities I wanted, we did learning stations. We had @codeorg , our new Oculus, @adafruit circuit playgrounds, @MicrosoftFlip and even simple unplugged activities with cards, puzzles, and paper towel rolls. #EdFarmChat #LearnWithEdFarm #CSEdWeek22
