I agree with this statement. I think teachers should learn that because even if they do not have these kids in the classroom, they will eventually have to work with those students and need to know how to interact with them. #EdTechatLATech

#EdTechAtLATech @KritikHQ for sure. @whitsivils In my class we have been using Kritik to evaluate our peers' work and it has helped me so much. I never used it in grade school but it teaches how to grade and helps me by looking at others' work figure out how to make mine better.

#EdTechAtLATech This is so true. If we truly want kids to succeed then we have to allow them to be kids. They already have so much stress on them, and the classroom should be an place that they feel comfortable in and actually want to learn in because they want to be there!

Something I would say to a teacher who is having a hard day is, how amazing they are and how they are an amazing teacher!! They are making a difference even when they donโt feel like they are!! Also how much they impact their students in such a positive way!! #Edtechatlatech

I think teaching students the importance of empathy and how it is relevant in all classes is a great way to build positive relationships. I want to be an example to my students of what empathy is and encourage my students to do the same.

The other day, I passed my Google for Educators Level 1 Certification Exam and learned many new things about Google that I will use in my own classroom! ๐ Google has many features I did not know about, including the different types of extensions you can download. #EdTechAtLaTech

Students love when they get to make choices involved in their learning! Not only does it motivate them, but there are many other positive benefits, including teaching them about independence. As they get older, theyโll have to learn to make their own decisions. #EdTechAtLaTech

I use AI tools on a daily basis such as QuillBot to check my grammar. There are other features of this tool that can be unethical, like writing your assignments for you. Itโs important that educators teach students how to use this and other AI tools ethically. #EdTechAtLaTech
