♦️Mogale Primary School Program♦️
The MMC for Environment and Agriculture Management visited Mogale Primary School as part of back-to-school campaign.
The school has a population of approximately 980 learners, far beyond its intended capacity. This severe overcrowding has resulted in a shortage of furniture, with some learners forced to stand while learning.
Classrooms that were designed to accommodate 45 learners now end up hosting nearly 72 learners.
The situation is further worsened by shortages in human resources and inadequate municipal services, including the absence of weekly waste collection.
The school highlighted the launch of indigenous games and sports, development of proper sports facilities as issues of urgent request required by the school.
Education must be dignified, equal, and adequately resourced. In this context, all issues of immediate concern within the a bit of the municipality, raised by the school management and community leaders will be attended to as matter of urgency.
