#BREAKING- EMORY UNIV. SHOOTER. SUSPECT DOWN EMORY UNIVERSITY, ATLANTA Happening now, an active shooter situation is unfolding at Emory University’s Atlanta campus, near Emory Point. #AvoidArea around #EmoryPoint CVS. @EmoryUniversity has issued an emergency alert. The incident has led to widespread panic as students and staff were instructed to "RUN, HIDE, FIGHT". A large police presence, with law enforcement and campus security, has responded swiftly and is reportedly in place engaging an #activeshooter. No confirmed injuries or casualties have yet been reported. Nearby, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention campus also reported hearing gunshots. WHAT IS KNOWN- The situation stemmed from a dispute between catering co-workers, allegedly shooting and pointing a guns at one another. Reports just coming is suggest shooter may have shot self.
