HCM Revanth Reddy Government Fulfils Promise Made to Employees
First installment of ₹2,000 crore dues released as per Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka’s directions
The Telangana Government has once again demonstrated its commitment to the welfare of government employees. The government has not merely limited its assurances to words, but has translated them into action by initiating the clearance of long-pending employee dues.

@Bhatti_Mallu had earlier assured leaders of the Employees’ Joint Action Committee (JAC) that pending dues worth ₹6,000 crore would be released within 100 days. Moving firmly in that direction, Finance Department Principal Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania, under the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, issued orders on Friday releasing the first installment of ₹2,000 crore.
With the funds released today, the government has completely cleared several major pending dues related to retired employees.
🔹 100% of the pending General Provident Fund (GPF) dues of retired employees have been cleared.
🔹 All pending commutation dues up to May 2025 relating to retired employees have also been fully paid.
“This has been made possible through advance planning and a well-structured action plan. As promised, the government is working at a fast pace to deposit the remaining ₹4,000 crore dues into employees’ accounts within the stipulated timeline.”
Employee union leaders and retired employees have expressed happiness over the government’s swift decisions and commitment toward employees’ welfare. They have thanked the people’s government for honouring its promise.
