He just calmly replied: “We’d rather answer questions about the movie. Thank you.” Simple. Direct. Respectful. And honestly? Refreshing. In today’s Hollywood, it feels like almost every film or press junket turns into a platform for political or social agendas. Actors and filmmakers often use their spotlight not just to promote their work, but to push a narrative — and sometimes, it can feel like the story itself becomes secondary. But Cruise? He’s keeping his eyes on the prize: telling a great story that resonates with everyone, not just a specific crowd. Movies are supposed to bring us together, not drive us apart.
