Tip: large close-fitting ones are best. Wear a cap or sun hat with a wide brim to shade the eyes. Be careful when applying sunscreen to your face, as it can sting if it gets into your eyes. If this happens, rinse immediately with clean water; flushing your eyes for 15-20 minutes is preferable. Enjoy the shade, but remember that moving between bright light and shade can temporarily affect vision. Your eyes need time to adjust, as your pupils change size to control how much light enters the eye, so take your time. Never stare at the sun directly! It’s a no-no!
