Two hundred and fifty companies and more than 70 career counsellors will gather at the Grand Egyptian Museum on June 19 for the “Start 2026” youth employment and training summit, Egypt’s Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsy announced.
Morsy stated the event represents a national platform to link youth and students to training pathways, job opportunities, and economic empowerment. She stressed the necessity of completing preparations to the highest organisational and technical standards.
The minister reviewed the final preparations during a meeting with the university social solidarity units project team. Mohammed El-Okby, Assistant Minister of Solidarity and project supervisor, presented the executive status, including organisational details, venue preparation, participant reception mechanisms, and registration numbers from the event’s electronic platform.
The summit’s layout at the Grand Egyptian Museum includes a training and employment area hosting the 250 companies, a career guidance zone with over 70 counsellors, and workshop spaces. A separate knowledge transfer area will feature a large stage hosting experts, entrepreneurs, and representatives from the government and private sector.
