Donโt listen to me listen to the guy that more than half of the wrestling gaming community relies on to make the game โplayableโ. I remember the
#FREESTATUS movement.
In his post he explains exactly what Iโve been saying.
All you people buying into
#WWE2K26 are a big problem & why they donโt care about the series and keep getting away with terribly made installments.
#BOYCOTT #WWE2K26 #MWGGA
Nah, This yearly series keeps hiking up the price, with microtransactions costing 4x what they did four years ago, without delivering a matching increase in quality at times. If they demand higher prices, we should as consumers expect more.
Instead, we see a decline in basic details. How does a game from 2007 have better hair physics at times than the 2025 release? Why does the Randy Orton '09 model in MyFaction(Paid/Grind Character BTW) have a beard and it never gets fixed? I dont think these aren't just 'time constraints" they look like rushed work and a lack of passion for the source material, especially when in WWE2K25 they are able to update characters during patches (Brock & Nikki) but that isnt a priority unless the consumer gotta pay AGAIN after paying already 70 to 129 dollars.
In my opinion, the consumer is right to demand better. We are seeing a shift where DLC isn't just paid content, but content you have to pay to access and then play to earn. That model works for Fortnite because Fortnite is FREE and easy to pick up and play game. It does not work for a game asking me to pay $150 just to get the full experience.
I have been playing these games for a very long time, and like so many others, I simply want them to be better because they can be. It is exhausting when the loyal fanbase is expected to just 'understand' and pay more and accept declining quality in certain areas, rather than the product actually meeting our standards as fans.
