The entire premise of their discussion is bullshit. Memecoins declined because of launchpads that turned 10s of thousands of memecoins (novelty, community) and factory farmed them into millions of new coins per month. The game changed. Amidst a retail market in decline, with waning new entrants from a contracting macro and higher cost of life conditions across the board. Regulators had nothing to do with it. Memecoins ascended during peak enforcement of Gensler-era, because nothing else really could. Fungible coins around a community meme were easy, fun and accessible. You could be part of something with low cost entry, and maybe you see a return (especially early 2024, pre-factoryfarm launchpads). Content and Creator coins are tryhard bullshit masquerading as "helping creators". It's bullshit. They dilute. Value decays. Net negative model. Look at it through a different lens. You create a new "self-custody Base app" and update it with the most aggressive data collection and tracking policies you can. You acquire an adtech company. You create policies that effectively link immutable web3 content and creator behavioral choices with web2 advertiser ID, email and social profile data. Content and creator coins aren't about helping creators, they're about tracking users, making richer web2 targets in web3, collecting sequencer rev and bringing in web2 ad networks to web3. Shareholders know and love advertising models. This is a more user-hostile one that's more pervasive and immutable. This isn't a risky bet, it's a strategic pivot away from privacy they were tweeting about a year ago that has been long memoryholed with their July policy updates.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Oscar-winning actor Joaquin Phoenix is calling on the Sonoma County District Attorney to take action and prosecute animal cruelty at Perdueโ€™s Petaluma Poultry slaughterhouse, following repeated reports of documented animal cruelty at the companyโ€™s factory farms and slaughter facility. ๐Ÿ™ โ€œCriminalizing people for rescuing suffering animals is a moral failure. Compassion is not a crime,โ€ said Joaquin Phoenix, following the high-profile conviction of animal advocate Zoe Rosenberg last month for her rescue of four suffering chickens from Perdueโ€™s Petaluma Poultry slaughterhouse. โ€œWhen individuals step in to save a life because the system has looked the other way, they should be supportedโ€”not prosecuted,โ€ continued Phoenix. โ€œWe have to decide who we are as a society: one that protects the vulnerable, or one that punishes those who try. I urge the Sonoma County District Attorney to prosecute the years of documented animal cruelty at Perdueโ€™s Petaluma Poultry slaughterhouse; not the people trying to stop it.โ€ ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ“ READ MORE: ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ‘‰ worldanimalnews.com/2025/11/โ€ฆ Via World Animal News โ™ฅ๏ธ #WorldAnimalNews #chickens #rescue #factoryfarm #JoaquinPhoenix #DXE #Perduefarm #RightToRescuer

Things vegans get wrong: They will tell you that male offspring of dairy cows are a waste product of the dairy industry and that they are confined in small crates and killed young as veal calves. Wrong! The truth is veal calves in California are supposed to have 42 sq ft of space according to Prop 12. Male calves are not a waste product. Selling male calves is a huge part of dairy income, and many dairies make more from selling these calves than they make from selling milk. Many of these male calves are confined to much smaller crates than the 42 sq ft required of those that confine veal calves. Because many dairy calves are not raised as veal, they do not have to abide by Prop 12 standards. (It's still a violation of California Penal Code 597t that requires producers to provide their animals with adequate exercise, but no one enforces that). As you can see in this video, this is a male Holstein, a product of the dairy industry who was raised to be slaughtered as a full size beef cow. This footage was shot at One World Beef in California in 2021. (If you are a man, consider sharing this to show that you aren't afraid to share a woman's social media content). #animalwelfare #humaneslaughter #vetmed #vettwitter #factoryfarm #animalcruelty

I thought it would be fun to use this thread to show off the Prudenceprimrosestyleguide so here is the exact thread except following the rules that I have created, what do you think lmfao?: When we think of the Word โ€œSacrificeโ€ we think of it, Thesedays, often as a Dirtyword. Sure, Jesus was โ€œSacrificedโ€ for our Sins, but such Nomenclature has been turned over for โ€œdied for our Sins,โ€ while โ€œSacrificeโ€ has come to mean things like Animalsacrifice, which is obviously bad, right? Yet this Pejorativesense of Sacrifice is a relatively new Occurrence to our Moderntongue. A Sacrifice is giving up something that you cherish; it is not a Wantonact or Senselessact as is commonly portrayed. The Proto-Indo-European Word itself, โ€œsakros,โ€ means to make something Sacred; thus to Sacrifice means to Sanctify through Giving. We as Moderns have forgotten what it means to hold anything Sacred enough to relinquish it! We speak of Animalsacrifice with this kind of Stiffupperlip, as if the Factoryfarms that we have created to rival the Depths of Avicii are somehow more Humane than simple Animalsacrifice. Yet even then, perhaps there be a Sourtaste in your Mouth still, Animalsacrifice, yuck, right? Yet I repeat again, it was a Sacrifice; you must understand that when Humans practised Animalhusbandry in our Nearpast and Distantpast they were not doing it at the Scale we do it now, and more often than not they were mostly living off the Animalsmilk. When an Animal was Sick, Old, Injured, or the Humantribe was Desperate, an Animal would be Sacrificed and Eaten. Sacrifice is just a way to say โ€œwe killed this Animal to eat it,โ€ yet the very Essence of that Word shows that this was something far deeper than the Ritual Killing of Animals in Factoryfarms. Herders and Nomads intuitively understood that they were apart of the World, not separate from it; you had to love your Animals, you could not dissociate from their Deaths. They were your Companions; they were apart of the Tribes. The Animals, too, likely felt this way. Cows, Goats, Sheep, these are Nomadicanimals that are entirely at odds with their Environment, so what does a Human offer them? Protection. And this is one of the Oldest Covenants known to Man: you protect us and we nourish you with our Milk and Sacrifice our Kithandkin in your Times of Desperation so that a Mutualpact may be had between us. This is the same Covenantstructure we see throughout Genesis, God with Noah, Abraham, Moses. Always the same Pattern: I will do this, you will do that, and together we create something neither could achieve alone. The Covenantwithanimals preceded and provided the Templateforallhumanunderstanding of Sacredcontract. We learned Reciprocity from Sheep before we learned it from Angels. And this Pact was real; this Covenant shaped these Animals, they changed, they were moulded by their Interactions with us, and so too were we. We wore their Skin and Hair to shield us from the Cold, so they started to grow more for us; we adapted to drinking their Milk, so they started to produce more for us. Our Bodies keep the Score. We made them Meek, but in their Meekness they became great in Covenant with Man; together Manโ€™s Herds were Unstoppable, who could stop them? These were not Men and their Cattleslaves, and this is eminently obvious from even a Cursorylook at Nomadictribesmythologies: Goatgods, Cowgods, Beings that carried real and serious Reverentialworth. Hathor the Egyptian Cowgoddess was the acknowledgment that Cattle had given Humans Civilization itself. The Norse Authumbla, the Primevalcow who licked the Firstgod from Ice, encoded the Memory that without Cattle there would be no Culture. We made a Pact, a Holyholypact, with them, and now behold the Tortures that we put them through. Could even Mara conceive of Horror that Man has wrought with Factoryfarming? Even the wicked Devadatta does not deserve a single Life as a Factoryfarmedcow. The Buddhist Hellrealms, for all their creative Tortures, never imagined Beings bred to be unable to move, pumped with Hormones until their Legs break under their own Weight, kept in Darkness their entire Lives. The ancient Imagination of Evil was limited by assuming some connection between Suffering and Justice. Factoryfarming breaks even Hellโ€™s Logic, Suffering without Meaning, Torture without Redemption, Death without Sacrifice. We have gone back on our Covenant with the Ungulate, enslaved them to feed our Cravenneed for Endless Growth like Cancers upon our Godgiven Earth; we have turned our Back on the very Beings that allowed us to rise out of a Primitivestate; we have left them behind, corralled them into Escheresquehorrors beyond your wildest Imagination, and we wonder why all the Food is making us Sick? Samsara is Samsara, but that doesnโ€™t mean we have to break the most fundamental Oath in our Tradition, the Holycovenant of the Guestandhost. The Greeks called this Principle Xenia; Comparativemythologists may call it the Ghostiprinciple from the PIE Root โ€œghosti,โ€ which gives us the Words Guest, Host, and Ghost, the Sacredlaw of Hospitality that even the Gods themselves couldnโ€™t break. To violate Ghosti was to invite Hell. What weโ€™ve done to Animals isnโ€™t just Cruel; itโ€™s Impious in the deepest sense. Weโ€™ve made them Guests in our World and then tortured them. The Curses of Hell are already here: they manifest as Cancer, Heartdisease, Pandemics jumping from Torturedanimals to their Torturers. With no Covenant to speak of, no Respect, how can we go on living breaking such a massive Oath? I sit here eating Pho, cooked in the Bonesofcow, served with the Flesh of Cow, and I think about all of this, and I know that we are as much them as they are us. Perhaps we cannot hope to end Factoryfarming as much as we yearn to; perhaps Economics constrain you from eating Meat that is not made in Tortureprisons. The Factofthematter is that we evolved with them as much as they evolved with us; we are Intertwined, and we must seek to make our Relationship, not just with the Ungulate but with all of Nature, equitable. Equality is for Man, but Man is the Shepherd and Steward of this beautiful Garden we call Home, and thus we must treat the Flora and Fauna with Empathy and the full meaning of Equity. The Jews in their ancient Texts are said to have believed whoever saves a Life saves the World entire, yet they also say whoever destroys a Life destroys the World entire. Each Factoryfarm is a Universe of Destroyedworlds. The medieval Esotericists understood Animals had Souls, not Rationalsouls like Humans, but Sensitivesouls capable of real and raw Suffering. Descartes convinced us they were Machines to justify Vivisection. We chose the Comfortablelie over the Demandingtruth. The Lakota Tribe had a saying: โ€œMitakuye Oyasin,โ€ meaning the Sum of all my Relations. Every Meal was recognized as eating your Relatives, for we all draw our Breath from the same Mother, no? The Question isnโ€™t whether to Kill, Life feeds on Life, but whether to Kill with Consciousness or Blindness, with Gratitude or Greed, as Sacrifice or as Slaughter. We must bring back Animalsacrifice, not because it sounds Cool, but because it is what is Right, because a Burger without Acknowledgementofsacrifice is Murder.
