The levels are on track to cause low lying areas of New Hamburg to be flooded for a few hours today. If you have to enter any of the low streets around the river, or the fairgrounds, approach with caution.

With all the rain, drains, ditches, and creeks are running full. The #NithRiver level is rising. Remember to be cautious around the riverbanks and keep pets and children back. Flooded, rain-soaked banks can be dangerously unstable and give way without warning.
