2 cups steeped tea, 1 lemon rind shaved off without white pith, 3 pounds of local honey, 3 pounds of local blueberries (smashed in a strainer bag) EC1118 wine yeast. Fermaid O yeast nutrient.

Sounds good. Be careful cut back on the Fermaid-K and Diamonimua or you will blow the airlock off your Fermenter.

Hibiscus tea number 1 is in a 21 litre Chef Inox Elite pot to be steeped for 2 days. Dried hibiscus flowers, 15 litres of water and 5.7kg dextrose. On Friday it gets strained and goes into a carboy where I'll pitch D-47 yeast and Fermaid O nutrient with a voile protection.

For nutrient, I like Fermaid-O which is on Amazon or homebrewing stores. Follow the guidance on the batch-maker for how much to add and when. This gets into a key factor = yeast health and lifecycle... which would require a longer, more nuanced discussion

Finally got the Fermaid O yeast nutrient. Can't wait to make the next batch of mead. Yeast nutrient helps yeast to thrive hence better fermentation and higher ABV.
