Looking Ahead: Advancing #PDBs as a Unified System 🌍 ✅ This was one of the points highlighted by @MBordlaurans, who represented @FinanceInCommon and @AFD_France at the FiCS Lab event organized by @climatepolicy and @the_IDB at @COP16Colombia . 🔍 As we look toward the future, we want to emphasize that FiCS will continue to promote the importance of making all Public Development Banks operate as a cohesive system, especially in the context of the #FfD4 conference in Seville, Spain, in 2025. ➡ This is crucial for maximizing our impact on scaling up sustainable development and climate financing. By working as a cohesive ‘whole-of-PDBs’ system, we can establish a clear division of labor within the Finance in Common framework, allowing each institution to leverage its unique strengths more effectively. 💡 Channeling Resources Effectively A better channelling of resources is essential to meet national development needs. 🤝 Fostering Collaboration We must also foster collaboration through shared standards and mutual reliance.
