Moving beside high ridges and whispering streams,
The mountain man cuts a silent scheme.
He cuts a #loop through the hollows, doubles the track,
Figure-eight path where pursuers lack.

Cross the cold creek, then circle back wide.
He navigates a #loop again slow in the brush and the stone,
Leaves them lost behind, while he hunts alone.
