After operational readiness in 2024, use of Nepali UPI was expected to go live in 2025. It has taken longer than expected to work out modalities. Indians could already pay using Indian UPI back in 2024, however it has taken two years to go live with Nepali UPI in India. Given the cultural educational, medical and business connectivity in an open border relationship, seamless cross border payments systems between #India-#Nepal should be a priority for both sides. #FintechConnectivity with equal reciprocity should be prioritized in #India-#Nepal relations. @IndiaInNepal @EONIndia
