I'll use this standard cowardly flyby reply-and-block from your standard unintelligent leftist as a tangent for a point on this:
A politician is not a worker who shows up, votes, and goes home. "Ah well, I voted, that's all anyone can ask of me" is the stance of the politician who sees themselves performing a job, not someone who sees themselves in service to the people of Australia.
If Hanson failed to show up for a crucial vote on immigration where she was the difference between victory and defeat, obviously I'd be critical as well.
However: if you don't possess any sort of real *power*, you are in fact better serving your voters by going out, performing stunts, and ensuring you work towards getting power so you can use it to serve them in future.
