Let’s
#FlyItForward this Women of Aviation Week! ✈️
A heartfelt thank you to all the women who are leading the way in aviation, those who inspire future generations, open doors for women and girls, and help shape a more inclusive and innovative
#aviation industry.
This week, we’re proud to highlight remarkable trailblazers like Margaret Dunseith, a pioneering figure in the history of
@BBishopAirport and Canadian aviation.
Margaret began her aviation career during World War II and went on to become Canada’s first female air traffic controller in 1952, breaking barriers and paving the way for countless women who followed.
#DYK? The current control tower at YTZ, built in 1989, was named in her honour, a lasting tribute to her legacy and impact.
