2026 will see a big summer for easyJet at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, with six new routes:
🇵🇱 Krakow (2x weekly)
🇪🇸 Almeria (2x weekly)
🇵🇹 Lisbon (3x weekly)
🇮🇨 Gran Canaria (2x weekly)
🇮🇹 Naples (2x weekly)
🇨🇾 Paphos (2x weekly)
There will also be frequency increases on the following routes:
🇬🇧 Derry increases to 4x weekly
🇪🇬 Sharm El Sheikh increases to 3x weekly
🇯🇪 Jersey increases to daily
🇪🇸 Alicante increases to 13x weekly

Wizz Air is to base a 3rd Airbus A321 XLR at its London Gatwick base.
This third aircraft will allow them to increase flights to Jeddah from 1x daily to 2x daily from September and also allow them to maintain daily flights to Medina.

Even @LPL_Airport bosses agree that @MetroMayorSteve plans for a Glider Bus are a “second tier experience” & aren’t happy with it.

Belfast City Airport could become the first airport on the island of Ireland to be directly connected by railway after plans were unveiled for a halt directly opposite its existing terminal.
A rail link, hotel and creation of more than 1,000 jobs are among the key proposals in a transformational 15-year master plan.

This morning we've been celebrating the @easyJet Liverpool BIG Summer Takeoff, with passenger giveaways and plenty of photos! 📸
It also saw the start of operations for easyJet's eighth based aircraft in Liverpool, with the orange airline serving 32 destinations this summer, with new routes to Malta, Split, Prague, Derry, Fuerteventura, Marrakesh, Berlin and Sharm El Sheikh. 🟠✈️
