🇵🇰⚽ Walking Through Football History in Mexico 🇲🇽 “O Rei” Pelé — The King of Football. 🇧🇷⚽ During the Street Child Football World Cup 2026, the Pakistan Street Child Football Team had the unique opportunity to stay at the Centro Interamericano de Estudios de Seguridad Social (CIESS) in Mexico City — the same historic venue that hosted the legendary Brazilian national team during the 1970 FIFA World Cup. This was the place where football icon Pelé and his teammates stayed before lifting the World Cup trophy after their famous 4–1 victory over Italy. More than five decades later, the venue continues to preserve memories of that golden era, including Pelé’s room, his signed shirt, slippers, and authentic Mexico ’70 memorabilia that celebrate one of the greatest teams in football history. For the young players representing Pakistan, staying at a place so deeply connected to football history was far more than just accommodation — it was a source of inspiration.
