With so many games side by side you expect the Foxgroup numbers to be down. But AFL would be up overall.

Once you add Foxgroup and NZ the AFL are not winning much at all. Currently the NRL has won 15 nights on FTA compared to the AFL 7 This is the biggest margin on Fta ever at this point in the year.

From Alex Johnston’s record-breaking heroics to the Wests Tigers lighting up Leichhardt Oval, Round 2 of the NRL Telstra Premiership delivered plenty of unforgettable moments for fans watching in the stands and at home 🫂 Up next: NRL Multicultural Round. It all kicks off Thursday night, 8pm, as the Canberra Raiders host the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at GIO Stadium.

The EPL number must be a little disappointing for Nine. Piggy backed off the NRL, first EPL game on FTA in decades. Only 230k odd Stan Compare that to 804k on Thursday night for the NRL about 750k of Foxgroup. Depending on Stan, Nine might have over paid for EPL rights.
