This
#SummerCamp we launched 100 new game designers. Hello to Kai, a brand new creator.
“The game that my group did was called Timid Times. Specifically, I did the programming.”
Did you know how to do programming before you got to Urban Arts?
“I had some experience, but not with the C# language. I did
#Java. When it comes to specific scenes and how those would work—that’s where I would actually design.”
Do you consider yourself a creative person?
“If I am creative, it's usually a small burst over a long period of time. So I could have a creative spark one day, and then I wouldn't have one for a good three, four months. But usually whenever I can think of something creative, I've been told that it's really good.”
“I'm going to be in my senior year. I have the most credits out of everyone in my school. I already had one personal statement drafted, but Joelle (Urban Arts' Director of Post-Secondary Success) gave me some meaningful feedback to help me through.”
You seem very ambitious and organized!
“Organized, no. I'm quite chaotic.”
Do you have a
#favoritevideogame?
“My favorite games were back on my
@NintendoAmerica #Wii—@
@DB_official_en #Budokai #Tenkaichi.”
