And even when we are working conversations/reports from #FreelanceTaskforce #FreelancersMakeTheatreWork re inclusion in planning, orgs/cos crediting us & not referring to "our production" with no mention of the artists, long hours not being productive or healthy - forgotten?

A year ago today was the first meeting of the @FuelTheatre #FreelanceTaskForce initiative, where over 160 members met for the first time.
It has gone on to inspire the creation of many more initiatives around the country including @Cornish_FTF, @DanceFTF and @CFWCymru.

It feels like we are stuck down a deep dark tunnel. Plus the noise about pressure on Project Grants. Even my eternal optimism is dimmed.

Thanks for this, Kate - and for setting up #FreelanceTaskForce. During those 13 weeks I met amazing, passionate, visionary people & made incredible friends. I hope our discourse & writing & actions changed other people's (and our own) understanding of the needs of freelancers.
