You seem to be victim of tutorial hell. 7 months is long. What you need: - pick a good resource: I recommend @FrontendMasters - pick a couple of projects to practice: I recommend frontendmentors - solve 1-2 problems you have with your skills After that, you can: - share your learnings online - reach out to people on LinkedIn - build your portfolio If you have a non-CS experience, highlight how you are hard working, can adapt, etc.

๐Ÿ’ฏ That is why I think junior devs should strive to become mid-level devs as soon as possible! Otherwise the competition is harsh. Becoming a mid-level dev is not that hard: - you need a lot of project practice - check frontendmentors - you need to master fundamentals - you need to put yourself out there and sell your skills as mid level

Junior devs have been asking me How do I get a frontend job even if I donโ€™t have any experience? The answer is simple Master the basics and apply to jobs the correct way Here's what to do: 1) Pick up a book like YDNJS or read the entire javascript info website 2) Practice on projects with JavaScript mastery or frontendmentors or @iCodeThis 3) Pick up a simple framework like react or vue and learn it properly 4) Re-build your early projects with that framework 5) Look for jobs that require that framework little experience 6) Go to Glassdoor and check the interview questions 7) Practice the questions 8) Ask for referral on LinkedIn or others platforms 9) Get some interview prep with friends/family 10) Nail just one interview Thatโ€™s it ๐Ÿ™

You can't tell... Just learn enough to write projects without external support (except chatGPT or online docs). Solve coding challenges on frontendmentors and leetcode... Then go for it, if you fail, you gain experience, learn more and repeat. Continue the loop until you win

day 4 of #100DaysOfCode Today I learned about controlled elements when working with forms in #react A controlled elements basically consist of 3 steps - define a piece of state - use the piece of state on the element we wish to control

The above project was one I picked randomly from the internet and decided to spice it up. The next is a URL shortening web app I found on frontendmentors (beginners can check them out). I learnt how to make consume an API like an expert and use Hooks well.
