Also, it's directed by Katsuhiko Nishijima, the same guy who directed the first Project A-ko, the Honoo no Tenkousei adaptation for Gainax, and the first Agent Aika, and SV certainly fulfills the "still entertaining even if you don't LOL" checkbox.
