The Irony of Nigerian Politics: A Call to Conscience The twists of Nigerian politics never cease to amaze. Once, the very voices peddling "Tulumbu" and APC propaganda were the same ones sounding the alarm, warning Nigerians about these very entities. Similarly, those now opposing Peter Obi and the Obidient movement once sang his praises, highlighting his virtues. How, then, can well-meaning Nigerians sift through this sea of contradictions to form a fair judgment based on today’s rhetoric? It’s exhausting, to say the least. I tire oo! The truth is, many who warned us fell to the lure of "stomach infrastructure," trading their principles for personal gain. To the young people on my timeline, regardless of tribe, religion, or region. I urge you to take a deep dive into your conscience. Ask yourself: Why am i against the Obidient movement? Why do I oppose Mr. Peter Obi? If your answer hinges on tribe, religion, or region, please don’t reply. Instead, reflect: Are your life and the lives of your loved ones better off after 10 years under APC? What do you envision for Nigeria in the next 4 years under their rule? And if your disdain for Peter Obi stems solely from the Obidients, can you point to a single video from 2022 to 2025 where Obidients attacked others physically, despite their numerous peaceful one-million-man marches? Search your conscience: Is APC paying you to vilify Mr. Peter Obi? To my Obidient family, not everyone will embrace our cause, and that’s okay. The beauty lies in our progress: we’ve already have 15 million new voters to reach out to join us before 2027, with another 20 million undecided voters within our grasp. Let’s focus our energy there. Leave behind those whose lives have thrived under 10 years of APC corruption, those who hate Obidients to feel good, and those who reject Mr. Obi due to his Igbo heritage, Christian faith, or Southeastern roots.
