ALT Lasting Power of Attorney and Will Advice Sessions. Advice sessions with a qualified solicitor will be available at The Curve, in Prestwich. These are open to all carers, family members, friends of our service users, staff members and members of the local community. Sessions will focus on: different types of Powers of Attorney and their benefits, mental capacity and the role of the Court of Protection, what type of Will parents need to protect vulnerable loved ones, ensuring any benefits and local authority support will continue in the future. Friday 22 March 2024, 10am – 12.30pm, Seminar room 4, The Curve. Friday 14 June, 10am – 12.30pm, Seminar room 3, The Curve. Wednesday 18 September 2024, 10am – 12.30pm, Seminar room 2, The Curve.
