the reason is that it is much easier to combine nfts/smart contracts on shape, which will be required here. plus there is concept if gasback on shape (anytime you move - not only sell, but move) nft on shape, artist gets 80% of the sequencer fees for that transaction) plus much more 😁

One reason I think @shape is a great place for individuals to launch experimental projects 1⃣ The Low Gas Price Gasback Mechanic The low gas fees on @shape make it possible to launch fully on-chain experiments that would be prohibitively expensive on other L2s. Even though gas is relatively low across chains right now, the difference is still significant: As am I writing this, a simple transfer transaction cost 🔵~$0.005 on @ethereum (250x shape) ⚫️ ~$0.0002 on @base (10x shape) ⚫️ ~$0.00002 on @shape I estimate it will only cost me ~0.01 eth to send close to a thousand of transactions to deploy/setup all the contracts and inscribe all the ingredient/dishes jpeg on-chain(if the gas price stays low). The same setupwould've costed me 0.1 ETH on base and 2.5 ETH on ETH. Given the size of the search space, players themselves would also spend significantly more gas experimenting on other chains. Which fundamentally limits what kinds of games or systems you can design. 2⃣ The Team The team are here to support creators and they actively engage with all the shapers on a daily basis.
