Geckoview performed much better as GPU hardware acceleration worked perfectly, and even getting the texture out was all laid out for us by simply reading through Wolvic browser's implementation on Github (open source FTW!), but the javascript was a NIGHTMARE. ugh. burn it to hell

...the javascript interface was beautifully straightforward, to pass in VR controller button events at a given UV/mouse coordinate to the browser, then get callbacks such as the cloud server's IP address, but later we switched to Geckoview for better performance & it was opposite

Mit einem Zweitaccount ist das schon jetzt möglich. Beide laufen parallel in unterschiedlichen Apps. Z.B. Twitter-App der eine (nutzt WebView), der andere in Firefox (nutzt GeckoView).

Regular Firefox still uses GeckoView. This only applies to Firefox Focus.
