I’ve decided I’m done voting in national elections.
Not out of apathy, but because I no longer believe the system we’re handed is real. From JFK forward, every decade has peeled back another layer of how deeply captured our politics are by money, by lobbyists, by foreign influence, and by the same recycled power brokers who never seem to lose no matter who “wins.”
The latest revelations only confirm what many of us already feel. We’re not choosing leaders. We’re selecting from pre-approved options.
I’m not willing to keep legitimizing a process that feels more like theater than representation.
There’s no saving this republic at the ballot box.
And judging by the conversations I’m seeing, they didn’t just lose me. They lost an entire generation of voters who have stopped pretending this system works. I know, I know. You don't believe me, but you just sit back and wait for the next round of "elections" and let me know. I will be here, but I'm done... Forever. #OptingOut #SilentRevolt #GenerationDone
