💫 My Web3 Research Notes: Projects Changing the Future
Recently, I've been following several particularly interesting projects, covering AI, DeFi, cross-chain infrastructure, DAOs, wallets, and even a quantum-secure blockchain. They take different directions, but they all answer the same question: Who will define the next generation of the internet?
💼
@BitgetWallet — From Wallet to Full-Stack Web3 Platform
Remember BitKeep from its early days? Now it's upgraded to
@BitgetWallet and is more than just a wallet.
🌍 Serving 80 million users, supporting 100 chains and 500,000 tokens.
💳 Launched a 0-fee crypto card (truly usable offline), and also features built-in AI Agent trading functionality.
🔥 Comes with a dedicated airdrop zone (GetDrop), a DApp browser, cross-chain limit orders, and a complete suite of features.
The most surprising thing is: they even have a MemeX module, a fantastic tool for mining early-stage projects.
@BitgetWallet Its positioning is transcending traditional wallets, becoming more like a super gateway to Web3.
🌐
@MultichainZ_ — A “Bridge” for TradFi & DeFi
@MultichainZ_ Its slogan is “The omnichain credit protocol,” which sounds very ambitious. It supports lending using NFTs, stETH, and even RWA, connecting multiple chain ecosystems such as Ethereum and Polygon.
Chainlink is building the oracle, and GEM has invested $35 million.
Their goal? To enable cross-chain lending for institutions, funds, and even real estate.
In short: This project is one of the core pieces of the puzzle for putting real-world assets on-chain.
🧠
@bluwhaleai — The Intelligent Layer (L3) of Web3
I love this concept: Bluwhale merges AI and blockchain to create a user-driven intelligent network.
You can monetize your data (wallet activity, interaction history) using
$BLUAI node farming.
They've raised $100 million in Series A funding, and TGE is launching soon.
In the future, everyone can become the master of their own AI agent, instead of being defined by algorithms.
Your data, your AI. I love this slogan.
🔮
@quranium_org — Quantum-Safe Layer 1
Quranium's positioning is top-notch: the world's first quantum-safe blockchain.
Uses the SLHDSA algorithm, resistant to quantum attacks (yes, the kind of futuristic monster that can instantly break RSA).
EVM compatible, AI-native, and supported by Animoca Brands and PwC.
Currently airdropping its testnet; registering a QSafe wallet will get you 500
$QRN.
If you're interested in the crypto infrastructure of the next 5 years, you must bookmark this project.
🚀
@Firestarter_fun — Get your ideas on the blockchain in 20 seconds
The name is so straightforward: Firestarter. An IMO (Initial Metaverse Offering) platform on Polygon.
Starting your token and shop in 20 seconds is real.
Many of the projects they incubate come from top teams, such as projects related to Forbes, Nike, and Supreme. Locking up
$FLAME allows you to participate in the whitelist. They are now expanding into the AI and RWA sectors. It's a bit like a combination of Kickstarter and Metaverse Launchpad in the crypto world.
💬
@Bantr_fun — Turn hype into action
Bantr is a super cool concept: mindshare-to-product-usage engine.
What does that mean? It measures whether a creator's influence can be translated into actual use, such as purchasing or participating in projects.
FairDAO does this, with nearly 850,000 users. They are also testing the waters in sports and entertainment, and have even released a tool for football leagues.
This project is incredibly interesting; it could completely reshape the business model of KOLs.
🪩
@syndicateio — The "No-Code Ceiling" in DAO Creation Tools
@syndicateio This is my top recommendation for anyone wanting to create a DAO.
It can turn your wallet into an investment club in seconds (only gas fees apply).
It supports NFTs, tokens, and fund-like assets, and allows one-click LLC registration (in partnership with Doola).
a16z, Alexis Ohanian, and Snoop Dogg have all invested.
They've already helped create 1,100 DAOs, representing 10% of the global total.
This is a sign that decentralized investment clubs are truly becoming mainstream.
🔥
@blazpaylabs — A DeFi Super App with AI
Blazpay is somewhat of a hybrid of Web2 payment experience and a Web3 yield engine.
Its BlazHub rewards system tracks transactions, incentivizes users, and allows for NFT purchases and cross-chain payments. Currently in the pre-sale stage, some users have reservations about security (it hasn't been audited yet).
However, I'm optimistic about its governance module, which it develops alongside Web3 Decision. If they can truly bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3, it will have tremendous potential.
🧩
@EspressoSys — A Shared Ordering Layer for Rollups
The Espresso Foundation, from a Stanford research team, is the governance branch of Espresso Systems.
They're not building a new chain, but rather providing a shared ordering and confirmation layer for L2 Rollups. This allows multi-chain networks to collaborate efficiently like a single system. The mainnet is scheduled to launch at the end of 2024, and they are currently transitioning to PoS.
In the era of modular blockchains, this ordering layer infrastructure will become an invisible core.
The Web3 ecosystem is now like a jigsaw puzzle, with each piece shining: I prefer the current Web3: no longer isolated single-chain islands, but a globally interconnected network powered by AI.
