🌍 As #WUF13 comes to a close, one thing is clear: SDG Localization is no longer a side conversation, it is a driving force behind how cities, governments, and partners are tackling the future of sustainable urban development. 🏙️ Across the week in Baku, we saw local and regional governments shaping global conversations, countries advancing multilevel governance approaches, cities sharing practical solutions, and partners building new pathways for collaboration, financing, and implementation. From the World Assembly of Local and Regional Governments and National SDG Localization Frameworks, to city-led housing solutions, action research, and the @SDGCitiesUN Global Community, the discussions reinforced a common message: transformative change happens locally, but it cannot happen alone. WUF13 also showed the power of partnership. Today, during a rich and forward-looking debate with the @globaltaskforce, focused on the future and the implementation of the #Agenda2030, we heard a powerful call from @UCLG_Saiz to step up and take the lead: 🗣️“We need to make sure that multilateralism works and that we are part of the renewal of the multilateral system.” She also urged us to think beyond the current framework and engage in the follow-up of the global agenda: 🗣️ “What comes next?
