The Nairobi Orchestra will hold two March concerts this weekend at Peponi Hse Prep Sch in Lower Kabete.
As a big supporter of classical music, the GoDown hosted several concerts in its old space and will be hosting lots more in the new GoDown.

I have had entrepreneurial classes, studied IP Law with @Harvard , hosted numerous NaiNiWho events with @GoDownArts because of the influence that the GoDown has had in my life. When they call me, I run because they’ve laid a great foundation that has made ANTO! #GoDownTransforms

This shell housed the dance arena and the concert hall from where #GoDownGig used to happen! It’s been an honor to perform there FIVE TIMES! @GoDownArts GIG was free for everyone to attend and we’ve witnessed Bi Kidude, Mbilia Bel, Zikki, Kidum etc #GoDownTransforms

I asked @michaelsoi about what the @GoDownArts space means for him… and although he is very clear it’s a new dawn for #GoDownTransforms it’s also good to look back at where we started to understand where we are going
