We were wrong about folders.
When we first built document organization into GoTogether AI, we gave founders folders. It felt intuitive. Everyone knows how folders work.
But after talking to more founders, the feedback was consistent: nobody wants to manage folders. They just want to find the right thing at the right time.
So we made a change. Instead of folders, founders now tag their files. A pitch deck gets tagged as fundraising. A customer call gets tagged as feedback. A roadmap doc gets tagged as product.
Simple. But the impact on our AI agents is significant.
Instead of navigating a folder structure to find context, our agents now receive filtered, tagged inputs. The right files for the right task, every time. No noise. No irrelevant context.
The result is smarter agents, faster answers, and less work for the founder.
Sometimes the best product decisions come from just listening.
