48 साल पहले पुणे की Jangli Maharaj Road दो पारसी भाइयों ने बनाई थी... और आज तक उसमें एक भी गड्ढा नहीं पड़ा। Yes, not a single pothole in 48 years! लेकिन irony देखिए — उस कंपनी को दोबारा कोई tender ही नहीं मिला... क्यों? क्योंकि उन्होंने सड़क ऐसी बनाई जो सालों तक नहीं टूटी। क्या हमारे सिस्टम में “Good Work” करने की सज़ा यही है? जहाँ सड़क टिक जाए, वहाँ ठेका खत्म... और जहाँ सड़क हर monsoon में टूट जाए, वहीं बार-बार नया budget, नया tender, नया फायदा! आज भी हम देखते हैं कि कई सड़के कुछ ही महीनों में उखड़ जाती हैं, जबकि technology हमारे पास है, resources हमारे पास हैं, बस... intent शायद कहीं खो गया है। तो सवाल उठता है — कमी कहाँ है? Planning में?
