Salvation is a gift, not earned. But good works naturally flow from it, showing believers are God's creation, His masterpiece, designed for a life of good deeds. #FaithInAction #GoodWorks

Different week. A different #GoodWorks nomination. For the category of Education of At-Risk Youth, we are proud to share this nomination for Nick Pastwa. Here is what his nominator, Jim Shellard, Ed.D., Principal of Abraxas Naperville Bridge School had to say: I am pleased to nominate Nick Pastwa for recognition as an outstanding teacher of at-risk youth. Nick consistently demonstrates creativity, patience, and dedication in his work with students who benefit greatly from engaging, hands-on learning experiences. In the science classroom, Nick creates an environment that sparks curiosity. He incorporates live animals (such as a snake, tarantula, and geckos) into lessons, giving students the opportunity to interact with science in a meaningful way. For many students who struggle in traditional academic settings, these experiences build confidence, responsibility, and genuine interest in learning. Nick also integrates art and technology into his teaching by guiding students in creating stop-motion animation projects. These activities allow students to express themselves creatively while developing important skills in storytelling, collaboration, and digital media. Beyond the classroom, Nick builds strong relationships with students through extracurricular involvement. He works with students in our CAAEL athletic program and participates in the CHILL snowboarding program, providing opportunities for students to experience teamwork, sportsmanship, and to build resilience. Nick’s ability to connect with students across academic, creative, and athletic settings makes a profound impact on the lives of the young people he serves. His dedication, innovation, and genuine care for students make him truly deserving of recognition as an exceptional educator of at-risk youth. Congratulations, Nick.

I'M THE LORD. I only gave a snipet, until I see your humility before I reveal all of it. You think it's about me, but then it's revealing the pride in your heart cos of it were you saying it, you'll make it all about yourself. I am the Lord. Oneness. Understand that when you begin to become one with the Father, not cos you're becoming but cos you're now being aware of your identity in Christ or express oneness with God and say things like I and my Father are One. They'll pick up stones to stone you. The people stoning are Jews and they are yet to come into the revelation of Oneness with the Father. They'll be learning a few things from this post even if I'm not teaching all of it now. John 10 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ³⁰ I and my Father are one. ³¹ Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. So you see the moment you say I... I in comparison with the father, they take up stones. John 10 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ³² Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? ³³ The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. So now they are not stoning me cos of my MANY GOOD works. Remember the goodworks are many. But they are stoning me cos of the revelation of Christ. They are saying it's blaspheme.. All of a sudden, me saying I am Christ, or I am the LORD becomes blaspheme and False. Well I guess you'd have to go read the next verse of that same scripture to see the reply of Jesus. "BoyG being a Man makest thyself God" This is the problem they are having with me. (to whom it may concern) They think I'm making myself GOD. Next verse Please. AND IT'S NOT ROBBERY. it is you who want to rob God. God bless us.
Some people are having issues with the depth of the revelation I share and they are trying to shut it up. But they don't know what is at work in them at this time. Even Jesus would share certain hard sayings in Public and go back and expound to his disciples. X is a Public space I'm quite aware of that. So you're saying I shouldn't share the Word of God revealed unto me because it's a public space? What about Jesus? He taught and Left the multitude without any further explanation. So if you crucify me for sharing on X.. You've also crucified Jesus again. Only those who are disciples will take the pain of climbing up the mountain to receive of that which He carries. You're not ready to climb up the mountain so you come up hither? Then REST 😌😌 Someone said "I'm trying to sound deep" Lol sound deep? Or it is you who is not there yet. We don't try to sound deep here. We just share the WORD. When you're ready to come up, Ask question. Humble yourself and you'll receive. These same people are trying to school me and say that you don't share Private revelation or personal revelation in public as though I'm not also aware of that. It amazes me. I was sent here to build men and bring them up to certain level of Truth. I don't need your approval of that. I remember the days of sharing things like "I'm the Lord"and was fought. Till certain people came into the knowledge of what it meant. Till today people still have issues with me saying I'm the Lord. They think it's about me. It means they don't follow Or listen well.

Iowa Time Machine ⏰: On May 24, 1979, Iowa Governor Robert D. Ray testified before the United States House of Representatives’ subcommittee on Immigration, Refugees, and International Law. Governor Ray detailed his sense of moral obligation to resettle Tai-Dam refugees displaced by the aftermath of the Vietnam War in Iowa. Ray, born in Des Moines in 1928, grew up in Iowa’s capital city. A Rough Rider, Roosevelt graduated from Roosevelt in 1946 before entering the United States Army. Following military service in post-war Japan, Ray returned to Des Moines and attended Drake University, where he gained a business degree before enrolling in law school. Ray started a successful career as a trial lawyer in 1954. Always interested in politics, Ray became chair of the Iowa Republican Party in 1963. 6 years later, in 1969, Ray rose to the highest office in the state when the people of Iowa elected him governor. Serving as Iowa's governor from 1969 to 1983, Ray accomplished a great deal during his time in office, including extending the governor's term from 2 years to 4, advancing civil rights, advocating for renewable energy, and moving his family to Terrace Hill. Best known for his humanitarian work, Ray engineered his refugee resettlement program to help the Tai-Dam people. Controversially, Ray went above and beyond federal limits to resettle an additional 1,500 refugees in Iowa. To detail the thinking behind his decision, Ray said, “I think what it shows is that everyone can do something and make a difference in this world. We might not be able to do it all, but we can do something, and isn’t there great satisfaction in that? The happiest people I know are those who are doing things for others. Think about Christmas time; what makes you happiest? Is it what someone gives you or what you give to make somebody pleased, right?” #Iowa #OTD #History #Refugees #GoodWorks
