This will be a great power.ā€ He says, "Vladimir Ilyich, who's the science fiction writer—you or me? Why are you telling me fairy tales?" Lenin says, "Father, come back in 10 or 15 years, and you'll see for yourself." He came back 14 years later and gasped. The country had already built 5,000 factories. In 1928, we weren't producing a single machine, combine harvester, tractor, or airplane. We greeted 1941 with the best military equipment in the world. The best Katyusha rockets (BM-13), the best L-2 attack aircraft, the best Grabin gun. Our country, under Stalin's leadership, managed to build 9,000 factories in 10 years. And when Hitler's leaders were interrogated at the Nuremberg Trials, do you know what they said? "We knew how many soldiers, tanks, and planes the USSR had, but we never imagined that in just 10 years they would produce such a brave, intelligent, strong, and talented commander and officer." In 1941, we had the most literate country in the world, the best commanders, and they were trained by a Soviet teacher, a Soviet engineer, and a Soviet scientist. That's what a breakthrough into the future means.ā€ The Communist Party of the Russian Federation has done more to fight for the cause of proletarian internationalism against US-NATO-EU imperial global hegemony than almost any political party in the world, right up there with the Communist Party of China and the Workers Party of Korea.

Power Purge in Kandahar: From Mullah Omar’s Inner Circle to Prison Hibatullah Akhundzada’s Guard Detains Former Finance Chief and Teacher of Mullah Yaqub, Mutasim Agha Jan Taliban Supreme Leader Crushes Rival in Dramatic Power GrabIn. The Taliban’s elite ā€œDead Squadā€, the same unit tasked with protecting Supreme Leader Mullah Haibatullah Akhundzada, arrested Mutasim Agha Jan, a veteran insider and former chief of staff and Finance Minister under Taliban founder Mullah Mohammad Omar. The detention took place in Kandahar on Monday, April 13, 2026, sending shockwaves through the movement’s ranks. Mutasim Agha Jan’s career runs deep into the Taliban’s DNA. He served loyally under Mullah Omar and rose to become a key figure in the post-2003 insurgency, standing second only to Akhtar Mansour until bitter disputes over financial control shattered their alliance. A reported 2012 assassination attempt linked to that fallout forced him into exile. He made a dramatic political comeback in 2023, facilitated by Mullah Yaqub, son of Mullah Omar, regaining influence in Kabul and rapidly rebuilding a power base in Kandahar, complete with resources, armed supporters, and political allies. His growing stature reportedly positioned him as a potential alternative to Haibatullah, raising alarms at the highest levels. Sources suggest the arrest may stem from Mutasim’s calls for a post-Eid ceasefire and a gathering of religious scholars, moves seen by some as direct challenges to central authority. Whether this was a pre-emptive strike against a perceived coup threat or simply ruthless consolidation of power remains unclear amid the Taliban’s trademark opacity. This high-profile arrest fits a broader and troubling pattern of internal control since the Taliban’s return to power in 2021. Dissent has repeatedly been met with detention, exile, or worse. In 2025, for instance, senior figure Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai publicly criticized the ban on girls’ education as unjust under Sharia law. Facing arrest, he fled to the UAE, exposing deep ideological rifts. The Taliban’s intelligence apparatus has systematically targeted:Internal members suspected of disloyalty, corruption, or power plays Former Afghan government officials, despite public amnesty pledges Journalists, activists, and outspoken critics. Ethnic and religious minorities Reports from UNAMA and Human Rights Watch document hundreds of arbitrary detentions, including 98 cases involving former officials with 20 instances of torture in early 2024, followed by 174 more across 2025 periods. Arrests tied to alleged ā€œopposition tiesā€ numbered 282 in 2024 and 157 in early 2025 alone. Media repression remains especially severe. The Afghanistan Journalists Center recorded 34 journalist detentions in 2025 and a total of 205 media violations that year. Since 2021, more than 265 media workers have been arrested, with prominent figures like Mansoor Nekmal, Saifullah Karimi, and analyst Jawed Kohistani subjected to repeated short-term detentions that foster a pervasive climate of fear. The crackdowns extend further: education activists such as Ahmad Fahim Azimi have been held for months, women face aggressive enforcement of dress codes, and minority communities, including Uzbeks in Faryab and Hazaras, have endured intimidation and mass detentions. Even within the regime itself, April 2026 saw multiple Health Ministry officials arrested on corruption charges, underscoring that accountability mechanisms are selective and shrouded in secrecy. Mutasim Agha Jan’s sudden fall is no anomaly. It reflects a governance style rooted in coercion rather than institutions, one that relies on arbitrary arrests, the absence of due process, and tight control over both ideological and political space. By neutralizing a figure with deep historical legitimacy and emerging influence in the Taliban heartland of Kandahar, the supreme leadership has sent a clear message: no rival, however rooted in the movement’s past, will be allowed to challenge its absolute authority. As the dust settles, the question lingers, will this move stabilize the Taliban’s inner circle, or deepen the fractures that have long simmered beneath its unified facade?

A number of units of the Moscow City Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and Moscow district committees made a significant contribution to replenishing the humanitarian cargo: MPO CPRF "Oktyabrskoye Pole" (expensive medicines for fighters of the Air Defense Forces), MPO CPRF "Leninskoye" (FDM 3D printer and tactical equipment), MPO CPRF "Pervomayskoye" (FDM 3D printer), MPO CPRF "Timiryazevskoye" (FDM 3D printer), MPO CPRF "Babushkinskoye" (FDM 3D printer and camouflage nets), MPO CPRF "Zelenogradskoye" (components for electronic communications), MPO CPRF "Kuibyshevskoye" (components for video-electronic communications), MPO CPRF "Leninskie Gory" (electronic encryption systems), MPO CPRF "Lyublinoye" (specialized equipment for UAV units and assault brigades), MPO CPRF "Baumanskoye" (large volume of 3D plastic and food products), MPO CPRF "Oktyabrskoye" (anti-drone capes, protective equipment, food products), MPO CPRF "Kaluga" (large volume of 3D plastic for printing on the front lines), MPO CPRF "Dzerzhinskoye" (personal hygiene products and food products), MPO CPRF "Novomoskovskoe" (tactical clothing for fighters of the SVO). The Design Bureau of the Moscow City Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation has prepared two reconnaissance drones for the UAV unit. The rally was opened by the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Gennady Zyuganov: This convoy, the 152nd Lenin Shock Convoy, is heading to the front for those in need of emergency aid. It's dedicated to the birthday of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin—a brilliant politician, founder of the Soviet state, a great theorist and visionary, the man who saved the Russian state after it was destroyed in World War I. It lasted for over a thousand years, but incompetent governance and a lack of political will sacrificed the great empire, which was dragged into war with the money of bankers from London, Paris, and New York. The Russian Empire had no reason to get involved in the meat grinder of World War I. It was completely economically and financially dependent on foreign capital, although Vladimir Ilyich had warned of this 15 years before the war. Back in 1898, he wrote a work on the development of capitalism in Russia, in which he demonstrated that capitalism in Russia was comprador, subordinate to foreign capital. That a struggle for the redivision of the world was inevitable, and that England, France, and Germany would inevitably drag Russia into this redivision. Because the tsar lacked the willpower and offered no options for successful development. As a result, a vast empire was dragged in and burned, and it crumbled into 20 pieces. Only the genius of Lenin, who proposed a new era for humanity, where labor, not capital, ruled. Where soviets and people's deputies were the primary form of government. Where the working man would determine the country's future. Where all major achievements would be subordinated to the one who, with his intellect and talent, creates the greatest values on earth. And it is no coincidence that this date is V.I. Lenin's birthday. Lenin, in fact, testifies in many ways to the birth of a new era – the era of Soviet power. No matter how much the hangers-on may bark, no matter how much they vulgarize the Soviet era, consider this: in just five years, Lenin proposed four policy options. From War Communism to the food tax and the food tax, to the NEP and GOELRO plans. This is what illuminated the country and united the half-dead, disintegrating empire into a single union state. Consider this: representatives of all the republics peacefully gathered at the Congress and unanimously voted to live in a new state. They called it the USSR – the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. When the great science fiction writer H.G. Wells came to Lenin, he thought he would agitate him for revolution, but he said: ā€œI have a plan for the country’s future: we will build 100,000 tractors, we will illuminate it with Ilyich’s light bulb, we will provide every young person with free education and medical care. That's what a breakthrough into the future means. I'm reminding you of this here today because everyone contributed to this convoy—Pioneers and Komsomol members, engineers and workers, and major regions. Sixteen 20-ton trucks from across the country, under the leadership of our Headquarters, headed by Academician Kashin and our Hero of Donbass Kazbek Taysayev, will travel to all front-line regions, all border regions. We are actively providing assistance to Dagestan and the Chechen Republic, which were caught in the crossfire and, in fact, suffered enormous losses. For us, this is sacred work. I thank all our Headquarters, movements, party organizations, and parliamentary corps. We have over 5,000 deputies who are personally contributing to this convoy. Every State Duma deputy donated a third of their salary to provide real assistance to the children and to celebrate Lenin's birthday. Unfortunately, the ruling party didn't listen to us. Recently, the President convened a meeting of the entire government, including the economic and financial bloc. I was amazed – experienced people sitting there pretending that the collapse we've allowed in recent months, especially in the first quarter, is something unexpected. Nothing unexpected. Back in October, at the Plenum, we gave them detailed advice on how to implement the Victory Program. We demonstrated in the Oryol region, under Klychkov's leadership, how to grow the best harvest in the world. Wheat yielded 185 centners of grain. If we achieve similar harvests, we'll have 200 million tons of grain. We'll earn $60-70 billion from food alone – more than from oil and gas combined. In Ulyanovsk, Governor Russkikh launched 500 enterprises at full capacity and demonstrated the highest rates of economic development, five times higher than the national average. The national average is 1%, while he has 5%. Go, study, and move forward. Here, the Lenin State Farm demonstrated how, without stealing a penny, one can earn a salary of 150,000 rubles and fully provide children and citizens with housing, schools, and the best kindergartens. I can't entice those in power here to come here, learn, and observe. Kazankov in Mari El demonstrated what modern people's enterprises are. He has 220,000 pigs, 25,000 cattle, a thousand of his own stores, and 150 types of food produced according to the best Soviet standards. Where lunch costs 30 kopecks and everyone gets 10 kg of meat products a month at a price of 1 ruble, just like in the best Soviet times. Come, learn, adopt, and move forward. Victoria Bonya spoke from Monaco, and Peskov heard her. Of course they heard, 5,000 deputies wrote to you, addressing all members of the Security Council, saying that with the current financial regime, with this idiotic interest rate, which has averaged 19% for 17 months, it's impossible to live, work, or develop. Who prevented you from hearing and seeing this? Why does Monaco have to tell you that it's a complete disgrace that they're not helping people who are drowning? You should come to their aid within an hour. Or in Siberia, in Novosibirsk, they're slaughtering livestock without even warning the people what's happening. Or that dirty spot floating in the Black Sea? You don't need anything. There are security information services. We send you all the materials every week. Read, respond, and take action. The program is ready for you. This week, we will hold meetings of all the Central Committee commissions, a plenary session, and a seminar that will review the CPRF program "From Survival to Development." Everything is ready. Unique experience has been accumulated. Now everyone is going to the polls. I hear about some prophet from morning until night. Complete nonsense. The war in the Middle East has been going on for decades. There is no prophecy. But the truth is that we need to save and help our friends. It's no coincidence that we created commissions to protect and support Cuba. It's no coincidence that we're sending our convoys there too. This also applies to Maduro and his wife, whom the Americans threw in jail. It also applies to Trump's insane policy, which has decided to destroy entire civilizations. When I heard this, the last speech on this topic was Hitler's. He decided to deal with the Soviet Union, he decided to deal with the Persian civilization. He himself hasn't figured things out yet in his own country. If we don't tell the truth or don't support those who fight faithfully and truly, then Victory will not be ensured. Telling the truth is always difficult, but without the truth, no one has ever won. I want to thank our fighters, commanders, and soldiers who fight on the front lines and die for our freedom, for our sovereignty. We have already buried 204 of our commissars. We know that they fought for our truth and for our freedom. We remember their children and families, and we help them. Today, everything our soldiers and our commanders need will go to the front lines. I want to thank you all for your loyalty to Lenin's policies. We have the birthday of the great Vladimir Ilyich Lenin ahead of us, May 1st, and May 9th – Victory Day. And when some at the front refuse to raise the Victory flag, remember – this is unacceptable. The Victory Banner must be the first at any parade, including the Great Day – May 9th. Because this is the Banner the entire Soviet country carried throughout the Great Patriotic War and raised over the fallen Reichstag. When Berlin was stormed, seven out of ten were Komsomol members and communists, so it is they who will determine the country's fate in the future. Without socialism, without loyalty, we will not achieve Victory. Our party offers a Victory Program. Our experience, including in supporting the fronts, and our combat units, our soldiers and officers. I thank the Headquarters of Protest Actions, headed by Academician V.I. Kashin for their great work. Deputy Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kashin addressed those present: "Dear comrades! I would like to add to Gennady Andreyevich's sincere and sincere words of gratitude to everyone involved in our important mission and the extensive work of sending humanitarian convoys. Their importance is significant; it's not just about vehicles, food, and motorcycles. It's about the warmth of our hearts, our love for our soldiers, for our native Russia. The basic assault and reconnaissance brigades receive our assistance and support." Gennady Andreevich said this is the central site. Today, vehicles will also leave from the North Caucasus for Dagestan and the Chechen Republic. Vehicles will also leave from Stavropol and North Ossetia, including for Donbas. I'm not even mentioning our other regions, which are constantly participating in this major effort. First and foremost, these are the Rostov Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the Voronezh and Tambov regional organizations. Dear comrades, this is a major and serious undertaking that unites us all. With our work, we are clamping down on the "fifth column," shutting their mouths. Today, we, including the President of Russia, are discussing why the Russian economy has been cooling for two years. We need to change course for the country's economy to grow. Therefore, our Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) program—the Victory Program—has everything necessary for this. We believe it is a serious key to economic revival. With the country's economic recovery, new jobs will be created. Enterprise revenues will increase, and wages will rise. There will be a different budget. This is the central part of our program—a development budget. It's hard to watch generals, colonels, and commanders come and ask for these motorcycles and cars. We have a great country with the capacity to do everything needed for the front. Today, our most effective weapons on the front are our TOS (Territorial Self-Defense Forces). They can burn out the enemy from 20 kilometers away. We need to remove from high offices all the "fifth columnists" who hate our country and everything Russian. Only the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) puts all important issues at the top of its platform. We need to revive our great Russia. We must not betray the memory of our fathers and grandfathers who raised the Red Banner over the Reichstag. We, communists, already saved the Victory Banner from a bill introduced in the State Duma by General Sigutkin that would remove all Soviet paraphernalia from the Banner, leaving only the red banner. United Russia voted for this bill, but the President supported us and canceled all such votes. Our soldiers are now fighting under the Red Banner of Victory in the Northern Military District. It's in good hands now! Dear comrades! There are many now who are beginning to say they're tired of helping, that they're fed up with it. This is also akin to a "fifth column." They are rallying together to destroy our Russia, our entire multinational nation. Just as traitors once allowed the Nazis to invade our land. We will not allow this! The Communist Party of the Russian Federation is the only unifying party that unites the people for Victory not only at the front but also in the rear. Therefore, we must systematically communicate our program and our actions to the people! I would like to once again thank our regions – first and foremost the Moscow Region, which is one of the first to participate here, Moscow, Tatarstan, Vladimir, Tver, Tula, and Ryazan. I am convinced that victory will be Russia's, ours! And the Red Banner of Victory will once again show the way above the victorious skies! For our soldiers, for our Army, for our commanders, let us all say our threefold Hurray! Hurray! In his speech, the First Secretary of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) Committee and State Duma Deputy Nikolai Vasiliev noted: "Dear comrades! Gennady Andreevich and Vladimir Ivanovich have spoken succinctly. First of all, I would like to thank our local organizations that are collecting humanitarian aid, and thank our soldiers on the front lines, knowing they are doing a great job. Unfortunately, we have had to liberate Europe from the fascist scum for the last 80 years, and now we must liberate the fraternal people of Ukraine from this brown plague. Therefore, we understand that this great cause is our historic mission. Therefore, I would like to once again thank our soldiers for their courage and heroism. Our cause is just, Victory will be ours!" The rally was also addressed by: First Secretary of the Moscow City Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Viktor Tsarikhin , First Secretary of the Vladimir Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Anton Sidorko , First Secretary of the Tver Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Lyudmila Vorobyova , First Secretary of the Ryazan Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Denis Sidorov, State Duma Deputy Artem Prokofiev , Senator of the Federation Council Airat Gibatdinov and a representative of the radiation, chemical and biological defense troops of the Russian Federation.
