after a lot of work and rearchitecting, canvas support for GradeWithAI is live! (schoology soon) what i learned: prioritize architecture over speed. i shot myself in the foot by optimizing for speed (everything was focused on google classroom). this made it ridiculously hard to add support for more connections. i had to rewrite (almost) everything to enable support for more learning management systems. only optimize for speed after your architecture is correct.

yeah that's really bad, but teachers have it way worse. it's because of one problem: teachers (especially high school) have an absurd amount of work to grade within strict deadlines. in my effort to fix US education, this is the first challenge. this is gradewithai.

it's 3 am. i just shipped kleo, a global ai chatbot part of gradewithai for teachers. it has access to everything the teacher does: all grading results, statuses etc. the most interesting thing though is what happens when you invest an hour into describing every feature in the system prompt. you can then have your ai chatbot act as an extremely powerful customer support bot which has native tooling to what you, as a founder, would have access to. gradewithai, dropping soon.
