This morning I wandered through the garden with no plan, no list and no intention of getting anything done. The weeds were still there, the borders still needed attention, and there were plenty of jobs waiting for another day.
But today wasn’t about doing.
It was about noticing.
We spend so much of our lives trying to improve, mend, build and achieve that we sometimes miss the beauty already sitting quietly beside us. Happy Sunday ❤️

Actually GrossMan it is really hard. Do you know Cobol computer programming? Would imagine not. If you did you might easily see what these numbers are. Not fraud, not payments to dead people but a statistical census of every person living or dead. It doesn't say they get $.

Give me all my money back for the last 37 years with compound interest before you start talk about scrapping SS.

Knock off the Social Security and Medicare tax limits and tax every dollar earned to resolve the problem. The increase would easily put the system back in the black and Congress could borrow the surplus like they did for 70 years or more to cover deficit spending.

My son gets SSI, he gets it because a drunk driver almost killed him when he was a minor child and Medicaid confiscated the insurance settlement. He is very disabled, what would you suggest for disabled adults who never had the chance to work and pay in.

I’ve paid 30 years into SSN and I expect zero cuts. Too bad. Cut military spending, foreign aid, education, raid taxes in the ultra wealthy. If we can find 150bln to send to Ukraine and 20 bln to Israel without batting an eyelash, find it for SSN.

I don’t consider Social Security a entitlement or welfare I would’ve been happy to keep my money and invested it myself. I would be much better off and would be able to leave to my family. I was self employed for years and all of my Social Security so it is my money. Ponzi scheme
