Some of the decisions taken by #KarnatakaGovt. yesterday were really path breaking & heartening. All in a single day - It were all development & progress driven. - Kudos to 'em!!! In times when we see a regime only propogating communalism, religious bigotry, hate & regresiveness the mesaures were more than welcoming. #IndianConstitution - Yes every child must know it & know his / her rights as a citizen. Dropping of irrelevant chapters - Yes, dont make out Heros of anyone & no one. Basis the decisions taken by #Karnataka & with elections round the corner in #Rajasthan, #Chhattisgarh #MadhyaPradesh #Telangana #Mizoram here are my personal few set of points which should find their way in the #Manifesto of these states by the party which does not stand for communal ideologies, irrespective: Manifestos: - Teaching Constitution - Basic Rights to Every Child - Better City Infrastructure: Foresightedness for next 2 decades (#fourlaning, #greenbeltcreation, #beautification) - City Infra requires more of an attention. - Maximizing the opportunity of #ITSector in each of the state basis strategic #positioning & #connectivity (#LesserCostOfLiving / #Rentals / #TravelTime etc) - Manufacturing hubs for local state employment opportunities (minimize inter state migration) - #NoMovies to be #TaxFree rather make #ExaminationFormsFOC for as many to appear including #WeakerSection - Special emphasis on #Sports - Clusters to be created in various cities to promote youth & student participation at an early age to ensure higher state level participation at #National / International Level. - Special #emphasis to #weakerclass basis economic conditions & not #religion based to uplift the #weakersection of the society - Zero tollerance towards #hooliganism / #corruption / playing with the law while following the law (No Buldozer idiotism) - Abolishing Agniveer (collectively) - Ensuring that Youth get proper employment from the state especially when joining the Forces & to serve the Nation. If required - Non-Cooperation movement. - Increasing local produce clusters of #essential #vegetables to cut down day to day #inflation & price. The list is long & can include many more / omit many of the things. It maybe right or wrong - It's my personal thought which I felt sharing.
