The Humboldt County District Attorney's Office (#HCDA) announced that Trinidad Cortez Gomez, 38, of McKinleyville, was sentenced today by a #HumboldtCounty judge to eight years in state prison for two #felonycounts of sexually abusing a young girl.

HEDERA HASHGRAPH... UPDATES...
Not long ago, Hedera suspended—or rather, deleted—the Hedera developer course that we used to know. It no longer exists now, whether it's the course itself or the minting of its NFT.
Just as we kept saying in the past, it would be needed in the future, but it will no be longer available, highlighting the importance and benefits of having taken the course back then.
However, they have now introduced three new courses as follows: 👇👇
1. Hedera Certified Developer Associate (HCDA)
To gain practical skills on how to develop on Hedera, ranging from writing smart contracts to integrating APIs, with hands-on projects and examples.
2. Hedera Certified Foundation (HCF)
To understand the core foundation of Hedera Hashgraph and to gain a foundational understanding of how Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) has become very powerful in solving certain IT problems.
3. Hedera Business Foundation (HBF)
To understand the potential of Hedera Hashgraph for almost any kind of business. This helps professionals leverage Hedera's Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) in the most suitable and beneficial way.
• Hedera does not need a blind, chaotic crowd following a trend; instead, they focus on educating people about their ecosystem for long-term impact.

Most university students don’t struggle with finding information about blockchain anymore.
They struggle with figuring out:
where to start,
which skills actually matter,
and how to access real opportunities early.
That’s what made our session at ESEN University interesting.
A lot of students discovered the HCF and HCDA certification tracks for the first time during the session and started exploring them directly with the team.
We’re continuing to open the program to universities, student clubs, communities, and hackathons interested in structured blockchain education.

Justice for Deputy Darren Almendarez.
On March 31, 2022, Harris County Deputy Darren Almendarez had just finished grocery shopping with his wife. He was off duty at the time. As he walked out of Joe V's on FM 1960, Deputy Almendarez saw three men prosecutors proved were working to steal the catalytic converter from the deputy’s pickup truck. The 23-year law enforcement veteran interrupted the men and was shot to death.
One of those three men was Joshua Stewart. Today, Stewart was found guilty of Capital Murder. The jury deliberated for nearly two hours. Stewart was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Trials for Fredarius Clark and Frederick Tardy, the two other men charged in Deputy Almendarez’s case, are expected to happen later this year. They are both charged with Capital Murder as well.
