It's a sign of slack software testing. This is the civil service who should be better.
Have spotted a business on their companies house website recently registered in the name of someone who went to prison two years ago. They should probably get more staff.
Do you have any thoughts on how this could happen? Why wouldnβt the dashboard just check for the correct auth?
(I know a little about how authorisation works. )
We're baaaaaack! Me and @DasSurma have a new podcast: Off The Main Thread! (google wouldn't let us have the other name, whatever)
In this episode, @DasSurma talks through the architecture of GPUs, and I look at browser 'ideologies' over the past decade.

Check out web.dev/articles/viewport-un⦠for all details on viewport units.
At the bottom of the post you can also find an episode of #HTTP203 I did with @jaffathecake that digs deeper into the viewport concept (and other related things).
This is a problem I had so many times trying to calculate when an iphone is showing toolbar or not. Thanks to @bramus for the heads up that now this is solved by the browsers
Best of luck for what's next! Got into web dev because of your service worker talk at Google IO (I wanted to build apps that work in the last toilet cubicle, not just the first four) and learned a lot from http203 and other videos. Hoping to still see the occasional blog post π
Previously, Iβve collected some resources on my blog about.
It includes two very good episodes of #HTTP203 with @DasSurma and @jaffathecake that also touch upon some of the stuff thatβs coming with css-color-5 (E.g. relative colors and color-mix())

To learn more about all the various viewports and their intricacies, I recommend you to watch this episode of #HTTP203.
Itβs a bit of lengthy episode, but you'll learn a ton about viewports, viewport units, the virtual keyboard, etc.
