BCH-1 Alumni Update 💡: NexOps 🧵
@nexopsbch was one of the early BCH-1 Hackcelerator projects focused on developer tooling. It won the competion because of its potential to help speed up work on $BCH dapps.
At the time, the idea was simple: make CashScript contracts easier to build, audit, and deploy.
Since then, the project has evolve into a broader smart contract development stack for Bitcoin Cash, we expect it to integrate more and more of BCH tooling into this beautiful IDE.
Recent updates include the launch of NexOps Wizard on BCH Chipnet.
The system introduces an OpenZeppelin-style workflow for BCH contracts, allowing developers to move from template selection to deployed and funded live UTXOs within a single interface.
Current templates include:
• Multisig Vault
• HTLC
• Arbitration Escrow
• Linear Vesting
• Policy Covenants
• CashToken Policies
The deploy flow now runs end-to-end:
Compose → Compile → Derive Address → Fund → Live Contract
The larger architectural shift is underneath the interface.
NexOps moved away from static templates toward schema and invariant-driven generation. Contracts are composed dynamically, while a deterministic rule system validates behavior before deployment.
This matters because BCH smart contract development still requires deep familiarity with CashScript structure, covenant state handling, and deployment flows. NexOps is trying to reduce that friction and make iteration significantly faster.
The system now includes:
• Role-aware contract composition
• Automatic invariant enforcement
• Local test identities and constructor prefill
• Integrated deploy and funding flow
• Audit and repair pipelines
• Visual contract flow mapping
• Multi-wallet broadcasting and Chipnet testing support
The deterministic rule engine is one of the more interesting parts of the stack. Unsafe logic patterns, invalid state handling, incorrect token validation, and other critical issues are checked before contracts can move further through the pipeline.
The project has also started seeing real BCH ecosystem usage 🚀
NexOps contributed to the first audit process for @FundTokens_Cash basket index protocol, and teams like Milestara have used NexOps feedback during multisig contract development.
Middleware is coming fast and quick on $BCH ahead of the Layla upgrade @bchbliss , with things like @GeneralProtocol 's XO stack coming, as well as defi tooling by @CauldronSwap (Riften Labs), Defi protocols like @ParyonUSD
When the middleware established on Bitcoin Cash, the full power of Defi ecosystem will be unleashed very suddenly and very quickly.

BCH-1 aims to build roads between the entire $BCH network state, and this is a stepping stone to the full vision of building a coordination layer.
For the first time, six years of Bitcoin Cash crowdfunding history have been mapped into one public interface.
- 333 campaigns over 6 years.
- 17,395 BCH raised.
- USD Values at the time of raise.
- 181 projects tracked.
- 130 source-code repositories indexed.

Six years of Flipstarter and FundMe.cash history preserved, and now continuously maintained in the future.
BCH Atlas is a star map of the entire Bitcoin Cash ecosystem.
It is a research, history, and tracking tool package as one thing.
It shows how Bitcoin Cash has funded itself by voluntary funding across infrastructure, wallets, middleware, DeFi, media, education, adoption, charity, and ecosystem work, without core emissions from the protocol. No Kings. No Heros.
🟢 Campaigns appear as planets in sectors, with colors showing whether they succeeded, failed, stayed active, went dormant, died, or have not been linked to a curated project yet.
🟢 Projects appear as station-style nodes. Larger stations represent projects with multiple funding rounds.
🟢Recipient addresses appear as amber diamonds, making it easier to spot when different campaigns used the same BCH address.
🟢The connecting lines show how projects, campaigns, and recipient addresses relate to each other.
This matters because BCH has always had more activity than the outside world can easily see.
The work existed. The campaigns existed.The funding existed. The innovation has been happening for years.
Now the relationships are visible.
You can browse every archived campaign, filter by platform, status, amount, continent, project liveness, date range, and funding outcome.
You can inspect individual campaign pages with BCH raised, historical USD value, on-chain anchors, project links, shared recipients, and archive snapshots.
You can browse the project registry, check liveness status, find source-code repositories, and see which teams are still active.
This is alpha. This is a desktop webapp only right now. The graph is large, dense, and not designed for mobile.
About 20% of data are missing/inaccurate. Some project links are wrong or incomplete. Some liveisness classifications will be wrong.
We will need community help to maintain it.

BCH-1 Alumni Update 🟢 FlowGuard 🟢
FlowGuard continues to expand its application with three new distribution modules now live, and the project is now ready for partnership testing and exploring auditing options.
Their product focus is simple, handling rewards, bounties, and grants directly on-chain using BCH and CashTokens.
The new modules include:
• Rewards, flexible payouts for referrals, achievements, and loyalty programs
• Bounties, prize pools where the number of winners is enforced directly in the contract
• Grants, milestone-based funding with optional reassignment of recipients
All three are live with 30 API endpoints and built to work natively with CashTokens.
Their latest update tightens the system. Their UI/UX is sexy as hell.
Key fixes include:
• Spending limits can no longer be bypassed
• Fee edge cases now have strict bounds
• Vesting and recurring payment bugs fixed to ensure funds route correctly
• Proposal payouts now verify the correct recipient before execution
• Double-claim and race conditions addressed across the system
Private keys are now encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
FlowGuard is building out the capital and token distribution tools for Bitcoin Cash, where rewards, funding, and execution follow clear rules enforced on-chain.
As $BCH takes advantage of expanded smart contract abilities, @flowguard_are shaping a new generation of smart contracts , where capital logic is TRIAGED directly on the base layer, on top with Bitcoin’s battle-tested design.

The future is intent-based trading, and the ultimate settlement layer for intents is $BCH
@intents_swap is one of the nine Hackcelerator winners, is building what most DeFi platforms should have built from the start:

BCH-1 doesn't stop at Phase 2.
Most hackathons fail the moment prizes are distributed—momentum dies, teams scatter, prototypes collect dust.
We designed BCH-1 to bridge the gap between "working prototype" and "fundable MVP," because that gap kills more good ideas than bad execution ever will.

Winning teams are in individual MVP guidance sessions. Product positioning that makes sense for BCH's ecosystem structure.

@nexopsbch shipped an AI-assisted CashScript IDE with a benchmarking system that's already live.
@BCHcash_mint built a CashToken minting platform and is planning mainnet deployment.
@intents_swap finalized the contract architecture for an intent-based DEX.
@rabbitexp_bch is optimizing a BCH block explorer, and studying building infrastructure for $BCH
Those are just the top-line winners. Nineteen other teams are in active development right now.
