Honestly? Still feels really good to swing. If the basics don't feel right, no amount of particle effects will save a game. So we obsess over this part.
Even as someone who loves ffXVI to death, I can admit that the game is more of a hacknslash than it is an RPG. Lvl progression and armor is the only RPG elements that it has.

Great visuals and some of the boss fights were great to watch, if not so much to play. I think the overall good voice acting was spoiled by killing the most interesting character in the first act and the remaining ones being written with the charisma of a brick.

Been replaying Control. This combat is just so damn fun and there's more to unlock like levitation for one that I remember.
Also love the cinematic video after every major mission is finished. Its such a beautiful flair of Remedy.
