Why is halal meat (slaughtered to Allah) rarely labelled in UK supermarkets like @asda @Tesco @sainsburys @Morrisons, but “succulent” or “RSPCA assured” is plastered everywhere?
93% of us aren’t Muslim.
How it died matters more than how juicy it is.

Why isn't our meat labelled properly?

Not being religiously slaughtered to Allah is far more important than a chicken being succulent.
How it died is more important than being succulent.
Supermarkets should be labelling for the 93% not the 7%.

It's difficult to know which certifier is giving green light to #gassstunning #Muslim consumers are not aware that they maybe unwittingly eating it. Unfort the #halallabelling doesn't offer much transparency @defra don't want to help!
