Recent reporting on Mogadishu clashes & opposition claims that security forces loyal to HSM targeted senior political figures shows how dangerous this moment has become. Any attempt to settle an electoral dispute through force will only deepen Somalia’s fragmentation. Reports are confirming some embassies in Halane have already put in place their relocation plans to Nairobi. HSM & Damuljadiid must understand this too will pass and will be held accountable for the untenable situation created and criminal acts committed.
