The image is funnier once you know what each one actually means… let me explain: Android is the base. Google’s mobile operating system built on the Linux kernel. The one everyone knows. Nandroid is a full system backup taken at the NAND flash storage level. When you root an Android device and install a custom recovery like TWRP, one of the first things you do is take a Nandroid backup. It is a complete byte for byte image of your entire system partition, data partition, and boot partition at that moment in time. If you flash a custom ROM and it bricks your device you restore the Nandroid and get back to exactly where you were. It is essentially a system snapshot at the hardware storage level. The rounded dome head in the drawing represents the backup covering the original. Notdroid is a jab at iOS. The party hat head is the dunce cap. The joke writes itself. Odroid is a real product line. ODROID devices are single board computers made by Hardkernel, a South Korean company. They are similar to Raspberry Pi but generally more powerful and more expensive. They run Android or Linux and are used for embedded computing, retro gaming emulation, home servers, and development work. The rocket shaped head is a nod to the ODROID branding which has always had a slightly more aggressive performance oriented identity compared to the friendly Raspberry Pi aesthetic. So the image is simultaneously a backup methodology, an OS comparison jab, and a hardware product reference all using the same mascot silhouette. Whoever drew this knew exactly what they were doing.
If you understand this explain it 😂

Hardkernel ODROID-H5 is an affordable Alder Lake SBC with 10GbE, four M.2 PCIe slots, and triple 4K display support. cnx-software.com/2026/05/20/… It relies on the same @Intel Core i3-N300 octa-core SoC as in the earlier ODROID-H4 Ultra SBC, with support for up to 64GB DDR5 and an eMMC flash module, but trades a single PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 slot and four SATA ports for four M.2 slots, and upgrades from dual 2.5GbE to single 10GbE. The company provides various accessories for storage and wired/wireless networking expansion, several enclosures, and more. It's been tested with Windows 11, Ubuntu 24.04/26.06, and Debian 12, but other operating systems should also work.

Check also the Odroid ones (by hardkernel) they are super neat, a bit more powerful and reliable... They are more limited in stock, but I love them

Does anyone out there have a HardKernel SmartPower 3? I'm trying to see if I can toggle one of the power connections on/off but apparently, upon trying to register I failed their little SPAM-prevention question and now I'm in the gulag 🥲

Oh fuuuu I've just written and automated testing for power consumption through the HardKernel Smart Power 3 before realising it's limited to 3A so any of these 5V4A/5V5A devices are going to be cutting it fine in certain situations 🙃🙃🙃

All the years I've chased down "Pi Killers" this has always been the case. Support is king and why the Raspberry Foundation always makes great products. (Odroid/Hardkernel does a good job too)
